Through Companion Care services, ASCC is dedicated to providing our individuals with emotional support and socialization, while helping them maintain their dignity and independence. Our compassionate and dedicated professionals are committed to being a consistent presence in the individuals life to further meet their emotional and essential needs.
- Companion Care includes such services as:
- In-home support and assistance
- Respite and relief for primary caregivers
- Assistance with light housekeeping and laundry
- Meal planning and preparation based on the individuals dietary needs and preferences
- Assistance with shopping and errands
- Transportation to and from medical appointments and social events
- Activities (crafts, games, puzzles, etc.) outings, and trip planning
- Assistance with daily schedule
- Assistance with connecting the individual with their loved ones as needed through available means (By phone, mail, email, and/or social media)
- To provide the highest quality of care, this service includes an in-depth assessment by our qualified staff to gain an understanding of the individual’s health, personality, and needs. This also allows ASCC the ability to properly match the individual with companions who are the right fit.
